COALS ACTIVE RECUPERATION GRANULATED ARE

Active recuperation coal is received in the form of granules from coal dust and binding substances by method of steaming at temperature of 850 — 950 °C.
Active recuperation coals intend for vapor recovery of organic solvents and their return to production. They possess the high absorbing ability on vapors of organic substances, small retentivity, are rather strong, do not demand considerable energy consumptions on overcoming of hydraulic resistance of layer of adsorbent when passing gas. Extent of extraction of solvent on recovery installations makes 95 — 99% .
Depending on temperature of boiling of solvent apply coal of certain type:
- AR - A — t ° boilings> 100 °C (toluene, xylol, amyl acetate, etc. );
- ARE - B — t ° boilings of 60 — 100 °C (benzene, dichloroethane, gasoline, ethanol);
- AR - V — t ° boilings

Active coal of the SORBER brand represents granules from dark gray till black color, produced from black coal and pitch by granulation and the subsequent steam - gas activation.
It is intended for adsorption of different organic compounds from gaseous and liquid media.
Mechanical strength of coal allows to apply designs of large volumes, providing thereby long resource of work.
Active coal of this brand can be subjected to thermal regeneration with high extent of recovery of initial properties at small losses of weight.
