Grid basalt impregnated road 25*25

The basalt reinforcing grid of SBPD is developed for reinforcing of pavings. Use of a basalt grid allows to increase considerably time between repair work due to more uniform distribution of load of a roadbed, and also due to reduction of formation of cracks because of temperature cycles. The basalt grid allows to reduce thickness of an asphalt covering by 20%.

Properties and advantages of a basalt grid

• Mechanically stronger and more resistant to chemically hostile environment, than SDA grid from E-glass.
• Lower cost and higher mechanical properties, than at the grids made of special glasses.
• Temperature at which there is a laying of a roadbed does not cause damage of a basalt grid to difference from the grids made of synthetic materials.

The basalt grid can use at lower temperatures, than synthetic grids that is especially important for northern regions.
